Next Minnesec Meetup is 10/2

Twin Cities security geeks will convene at The Local, in Minneapolis, on 10/2, which is a Tuesday at 6 pm. This is the second Minnesec security meetup. We will find a location along the right hand side windows toward the back. If you don't know what a CitySec is - it is a peer to peer meetup: to hang out with local security pros and talk shop, network.

Please make sure the group is obvious . . . hard as it is to believe, a crowd of security freaks really don't stand out from the crowd.

yes obvious is good. I plan on being there.

I should be able to stop by and am looking forward to meeting some security geeks from the area. Just want to confirm that the professional security geekyness isn't a requirement. I'll try not to say anything too dumb but my practical experience level isn't the highest.

Hope it went well, and hope I can make it [for the first time] to meet #3...

Good question, how did it go? Any news on the next meeting? Is there a planned schedule like every first Tuesday of the month? Every other month?

It's been a couple months. Any plans for another get together?

So, are we going to meet again?

If people would be interested in meeting up in the NW suburbs I'd be able to attend on a regular basis. If it's downtown or elsewhere I'd try to attend as much as possible.

Should we try to find some place to meet on April 1st or 3rd?
